Micro Finance for Rural Women Project (MiRWo)

 

This project aims at improving community livelihoods and household incomes through provision of free interest loans to rural women groups and teenage mothers for purposes of promoting production, business and in farming of short gestation crops. In August 2016, Integrated Rural community Empowerment (IRUCE) received funding from the Family Action Community Empowerment in UK to implement a project titled, “Microfinance for Rural Women in the South West Uganda.

 

This project was developed against a backdrop of improving community livelihoods and household incomes through providing free interest loans to rural women groups and teenage mothers for purposes of promoting production, business and in farming for household income generation.
