Adaptive Rural Community Horizon (ACH)

This majorly has had captivating impacts through the “adapt a million trees campaign” in our society. For emphasis of mitigating effects of climate change by campaigning against wanton destruction of environments and greenery belts, poor garbage disposal, destructive mining practices and poor exploitation of natural resources. We under took tree planting with assistance of the district local government in Kanungu and NFA in rural communities. Through community awareness campaigns on positive impacts of biodiversity and mineral development we made citizens engagements mainly in creating awareness among rural communities on the peripheral of the gazette conservation and forestry areas with potential to extinction to salvage the future exploitation of such mineral resource.

The above program zeros on people participation and shedding of light through information sharing on policies and development, and on how rural communities in this area can effectively tap into the new upcoming opportunities of natural resources conservation.
